Sadie Hawkins

Sadie Hawkins was a bike race in Chicago, Illinois. The race organizers wanted a unique and memorable spoke card that they could give away to race participants.

The race organizers re-appropriated the idea of Sadie Hawkins Day — an outdated tradition from the 1930’s where women would ask men to their local dance. They wanted to reimagine this concept by creating a new, bad-ass Sadie for these spoke cards.
